Welcome to the 2026 edition of Elmdale Tennis Club Summer Camp! 

The 8-week summer tennis program offers a full and half-day camp option, Monday through Friday, with on and off-court activities starting at 9am and ending at 4pm. Kids ages 5-13, at any level of play, are welcome to join the summer program, as players will be grouped each week by age and tennis experience. Our program follows the Tennis Canada “Progressive Tennis” approach. Kids will learn fundamental tennis skills, practice rallying and point play, develop physical endurance, speed, and hand-eye coordination, build sportsmanship and make new friends.

For older players aged 13-16, we offer an opportunity to develop leadership skills and practical experience by assisting coaches with tennis practices and off-court activities on a volunteer basis. This is a great opportunity to complete high school volunteer hours, get practical on court experience with tennis professionals and the option of receiving a reference letter for future roles. The morning segment of the camp, 9am-12pm, will be under the direct supervision of Coach Mariya, and the afternoon session, 1pm-4pm, will be run by Coach Chris. Kids will have a supervised lunch break from 12pm to 1pm.

WHAT TO BRING?

Players should come to summer camp prepared for a day of exercise and fun. All players should bring a water bottle, nut free snacks, a hat, sunscreen, proper athletic footwear and a tennis racquet. A tennis racquet will be provided if a player does not have one. Players who are registered for a full day camp must bring their own lunch.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made at least 30 days prior to the session to receive a full refund. No refund will be given if a cancellation request is made within 30 days of the start of the session (Medical emergencies excluded).

WEATHER AND CAMP CANCELLATIONS

If the following day has a high likelihood of rain, the full day will be cancelled. There will be no refund given out. Players will have the option to join another camp day during the rest of the summer as a make up day. Players doing a make up day will have to contact one of the pros beforehand. Members: Members who register for a summer camp BEFORE memberships renew April 1st: The non-member rate will be charged online. A $25 credit will be applied towards your membership renewal in April. As your 2025 membership is expired, you will need to renew as a ‘Guest Membership’ until 2026 memberships open. Click the green ‘buy membership’ button, or visit the menu under you name, and select memberships from there. A guest membership will be required for you, and each of your children.

Members who register for a summer camp AFTER April 1st: Complete your membership renewal, and then register for your summer camp to receive the member discounted rate.

Non-Members: You will need to login or create a Court Reserve account to register. Your account requires a free guest membership (this allows you access to register as a non-member). When creating your profile, select ‘Guest Membership’. If you already have a profile, your Guest membership may be expired from last year – to renew it simply click the green ‘buy membership’ button, or visit the menu under you name, and select memberships from there. A guest membership will be required for you, and each of your children.

Cancellation Policy

Requests for cancellation must be submitted at least 30 days before the start of the registered program. Refunds will not be possible if the request is submitted less than 30 days before the start of the registered program.

Example: If you book for the week of August 11-15, you can cancel until July 11 with no consequence and receive a full refund. If you were to cancel after July 11 other than for reason of injury, sickness or family emergency, no refund will be possible.
